Wang Ningyuan is a PhD student at the Faculty of Law, the University of Hong Kong. She mainly focuses on the legal history of China, especially the Beiyang Period. Before coming to HKU, she completed her undergraduate studies in the law school of Beijing Normal University in 2018 and then went to Nanjing University for postgraduate studies, where she got the master’s degree in legal history in 2021.
