Thesis Title: Public Policy as an exception to the recognition and enforcement of awards in South Asia
Prakritee completed her law degree from Symbiosis School of Law, Pune, India (B.BA.LL.B. 2011). She has a Diploma in Intellectual Property from Symbiosis Law School and a Post Graduate Diploma in Environment Laws from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore. Yonzon is the first Nepali to complete her LL.M. from the London School of Economics and Political Science, in the year 2012.
Yonzon worked in the field of dispute resolution, particularly arbitration in Bharucha & Partners, Mumbai (2013 – 2016) in a range of civil and commercial matters before the High Court of Bombay as well as independent arbitral tribunals.
She also taught the subjects of Company Law, Legal Research Methodology and Alternate Dispute Resolution as a Lecturer in Kathmandu University School of Law and National College of Law (2016-2018).
She has done independent research and consultations in the field of human rights, development and law, in topics such as migrant labour rights, arbitration, independence of judiciary, employment law.
Yonzon worked a Senior Associate in Pioneer Law Associates (2019 – 2021), where she worked on general corporate advisory and arbitration related matters. She is a registered Mediator conducted by the Nepal Mediator’s Society.
